for the first time, i legitimately sported the snow boots that richard, hanna, andrew and i dug through and found in heaps of mismatched shoes and other junks at the tail-end of the northface outlet sale last fall. felt solid walking around in them. i purposely walked into snow piles to give my snow boots a chance to do their thing. :)

too bad it's not snowing right now. i would have liked to see it pile up about 6 feet, so we can legitimately call a snow day.
