ANYWAYS, i'm HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
oh wow. so different.
there were things that made me realize i'm not in kansas anymore.
* x-raying passengers as they are coming out of the terminal to medically quarantine you!
* everyone addresses me as Ms. Jennifer Hong. so polite.
* a guard outside my hotel with an ARMY RIFLE
* fish for breakfast
* HUMID
i finally got connected with andrew and my family -- skype!! -- so i'm happy. :) i am still unsure if i'm allowed to have internet in my room, but as long as it works, i will use it!
i shall go out and explore the city a little bit, before i meet up with my contact from TAF to find an apartment for me!

Yeh, you're there! Little do they know the tornado of energy that has landed on their shores. I'm sure you will become an invaluable member of their mission there. Do be smart and careful as you "explore," you are definitely not in Kansas or L.A. anymore. I'm happy for you :)
