My roommate has this habit of putting the chain-thing on when i'm not home!!!! So it's 1 AM, coming back from another night of hanging out with the ford school people and the last thing i want to find out is that the door can't be opened.
i was out there, trying to push the door open and my butt did quite a damage to the chain, but before i got half way through breaking it, amy came down and opened the door for me. she was in the bathroom. AHHHHHH
anyways, the ford school began our 95th anniversary celebration and i met a lot of cool alums at this informal dinner...that didn't involve dinner. false advertising? nonetheless, an alum bought me a half pint sangria, which was way too big and had to be shared with other people. haha
afterwards, a bunch of us went to buffalo wild wings to grab dinner and i have to say... people gossip and i don't like it at all. :( not only am i happy that i'm happily committed in a relationship, i definitely don't like that people pry into your life! because the program is small, everyone knows everything about other people!! yucky.
tomorrow will be community tailgate party, involving root beer keg and face paint. hopefully they will grill meat and stuff. i look forward to meeting more alums and hanging out with the fordies. :)
andrew is studying really hard for his test on monday and i feel bad that i can't be there to support him. :( please keep him in your prayers.
by the way, i have been talking to several of you on the phone in the last few days re: your struggles and prayer requests. i truly feel honored to be part of your life and i take GREAT joy in praying for you! thank you for opening up to me.
ooookay! i better sleep soon. another long day awaits me! :)
yeah, never liked gossip either, seems petty and small minded, much more things to talk about. You sure are getting around, and as usual, making good connections I'm sure. So glad you're enjoying yourself. Have a good night's rest.
