i explored one of the "korean areas" with my co-workers last night. they knew that i missed korean food and korean things, so we went to a burgeoning establishment near the Bel Air Village. i got so giddy and excited at seeing Korean signs and Korean snacks. :) tee-hee
what's coming up?
tonight: philippines cultural show with jessie and his church group, then after, i will hang out with the interns.
saturday: 3 am start -- drive to mt. pinatubo, the volcanic mt. that erupted in the philippines in 1992. :) spend a whole day there with my office mates and their friends. lots of trekking and... swimming...somewhere.
sunday: 6 am start -- take the bus up to tagaytay, one of the "must visit" sites in the philippines, with two other interns. we will explore the area, eat buko pie (coconut pie, their specialty), and other delicious things... in addition to hiking up to see the volcanic crater, a lake that formed inside it, and an island that is, either an active volcano or a remnant of the last volcanic eruption. i forget. anyways, it's supposed to be BEAUTIFUL.
